TOPIC: Bridging the Divide: Talking Across America’s Political Fault Lines

In a time when families, friendships, and communities are strained by politics, how can we stay connected across our differences? This talk offers practical ways that we can communicate respectfully about politics with friends and relatives — without arguments or shouting matches. Learn how to listen without giving in, ask questions that open hearts, and find shared values that can heal divides. Compassionate conversation is possible — and it starts with us.

SPEAKER: Major Michelle Boshears

Major Michelle Boshears

Michelle Boshears aspired to an Army career at a young age. Steve and Michelle have three children and four grandchildren. They moved to the Villages in 2018.
